Hard Work (1953 ~ 1958)

Shaanxi Construction Group was founded in 1953 as a branch of Northwest Electric Power Administration under the Ministry of Power Industry, as a contractor for key projects during the First Five-Year Plan period. The first generation of the Five Builders overcame a series of technical problems under extremely difficult conditions and simple equipment, and built the 60-meter chimney of Baqiao Thermal Power Plant and Lanzhou Power Plant, which were extremely difficult to construct. They are well-deserving pioneers and founders of electric power construction in Northwest China.
